After much begging, the owner of the salon Andrea Zuccaro gave her a cool look, with choppy dis-connected layers and trendy highlights. He then took some photographs of her for his salon and entered them into a L'oreal Colour trophy competition. During the contest, she caught the eye of several modeling agencies that tried to approach her. But Moore was bewildered and not really sure of what to do. When asked about what made her think so much to say yes to the agencies that tried approaching her, she said, “I got scouted there at the finals, but didn't take it seriously, I've always been very suspicious of such things, but with Andrea's encouragement and after meeting with a few agencies like Select Model management in London, who kept calling and were so warm and supportive that I thought why not, I’ll try it.” Since then there was no looking back for Jayne Moore.
